ing of surgery and postoperative M&M was not observed. However, congenital heart disease (OR 12.77, 95% CI 1.12–145.8) and ASA class III–IV (OR 5.59, CI 2.04–15.34) were significant predictors of abscess-specific M&M. Group definitions for sensitivity analyses of surgical timing were then modified, as described above (Table IV).
