Instructional Method Otolaryngologists will be responsible for demonstrating correct techniques and assisting with the skills development as indicated in the checklists. Otolaryngologists will be responsible for seeing that each participant has suƯicient opportunity to practice each of the skills indicated in the Clinical Experience Checklist and to provide weekly feedback to the participant using provided checklists. Throughout the clinical experience, the participant will be expected to receive a mastery level rating from the otolaryngologist on each of the skills. Skills performed under the auspices of supervision of the oƯice audiologist will be accepted. Throughout the Clinical Experience, the participant will keep a log of the performance of each of the skills associated with the objectives. Participants will be required to complete 60 cases of each skill during a six-month period. At the end of the six-month supervisory period, the participant will submit the Log of Hearing Tests to the participant’s supervising otolaryngologist. The otolaryngologist will verify the case log and summary and attest to the skills that have been mastered.
