Physical Volume (PVT) • A signal of fix intensity (probe tone) introduced into a cavity (EAC) will have a lower SPL in a large cavity and a higher SPL in a small cavity

• Normal is 1.0 – 1.5cc in adults and .7 – 1.0cc in children
