FDA: Red Flags • Visible congenital or traumatic deformity of the ear • History of active drainage or bleeding within the last 90 days • Sudden or rapidly progressing hearing loss in either ear within the last 90 days • Air-bone gap of 15dB or greater at 500Hz, 1000Hz, and 2000Hz
