continued to try to enhance and improve the experience for international attendees. Conversations with our past Coordinators for International Affairs as well as prominent international otolaryngologists have helped shape our offerings to international participants. The AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO SM continued to be the yearly flagship event for the global otolaryngology community. During this timeframe there were many adjustments made to the program and structure of the Annual Meeting to better meet the needs of attendees, enhance their education and networking experiences, and grow the Academy’s global connections through international outreach. Global Connections at the Annual Meeting The 2013 Annual Meeting had several firsts that were debuted for attendees. Gregory W. Randolph, MD, Coordinator for International Affairs, and Susan R. Cordes, MD, WIO Section Chair, launched a first time International Women’s Caucus, inviting women presidents and secretaries general of the International Corresponding Societies to confer with Academy women leaders. It was the first Annual Meeting that offered a new International Assembly as part of the Academy’s continued global outreach. In addition for the first time,

several education sessions were offered to the Latin American otolaryngology community via live broadcast webinars with a reach to more than 250 participants in 20 countries. The AAO-HNSF continued to seek ways to offer an Annual Meeting program that was accessible and relevant to the international otolaryngology community. Dr. Woodson was deeply committed to engaging the global otolaryngology specialty in ways that provided equal information exchange and dialogue. In the April 2015 Bulletin she noted, “These rapid changes in global information exchange should give us pause to consider the role our Academy plays in otolaryngology care throughout the world….We are increasingly
