There were no restrictions regarding the county or the year of the publication. We excluded duplicate datasets, review articles and other forms of non-original publica tions, and theses. The online search was complemented by man ual searching of the references of eligible studies.

Literature Search and Eligibility Criteria Studies were retrieved through an online bibliographic sea rch of MEDLINE via PubMed, SCOPUS, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library from their inception to February 2022. A combi nation of the following keywords was used for the bibliographic search: (Microsurgery) AND (Lasers OR KTP OR Potassium titanyl-phosphate) AND (Glottic cancer OR Laryngeal cancer). The search algorithm of the present review is shown in Table S1. We included studies that met all of the following inclusion criteria: (1) population: patients with early glottic neoplasms; (2) intervention: KTP laser therapy; (3) comparison: no compara tive analysis was conducted; (4) outcomes: clinical outcomes in terms of overall survival, disease-free survival, recurrence rate,

Screening, Data Extraction, and Quality Assessment

All retrieved records were imported into the Endnote X8 program (Thomson Reuters, USA) to remove duplicates. The screening of the unique records passed through two stages: titles and abstracts screening, and full-text screening of the abstracts deemed eligible for the present review.
